MP3

I decided to have a little mp3 page so Kirsti and I can post some of the music we're working on or have done. The recordings will be in my teaching room or "very much" live concerts we have done or will be doing.

The solo and duet guitar parts are done in takes, but no punch-ins, because I find that it's easier to hit "delete" and do it again than it is to do punch-ins and all the headaches that go with them. By doing songs live, or in takes, I feel I'm getting the music ready for performances, and working on being a better musician, which is the point of this page. Thank you for letting me share this with you.

I also enjoy using different guitars and will mention them.

As I start this in March, I hope this web page will grow and you and I will hear our music grow and get better.

Thank you,
Ed Bridge

Notes

This is a live recording - an excerpt from a serivce. What was cool was that I recorded Kirsti from about 75 feet back on an old reel-to-reel Nagra IV-L from the '70s in mono. The microphones were KM184. I wanted to record her because she had a cold and I wanted her to know that no one could tell and her voice still filled the room, even 75 feet back.
